Peñiscola is situated to the north of the Valencia Community, in the province of Castellón, half-way between Valencia and Barcelona. It can be reached by the N-340 road, the AP-7 motorway (exit 43) and from the Benicarló-Peñiscola railway station where the main long distance trains stop.
We can reach Peñiscola from any geographical point in Spain. We leave Barcelona on the AP-7 motorway. We pass through the lands of Tarragona until we reach exit 43 of Peñiscola-Benicarló, at Km. 365 of the motorway. Here we exit and take the N-340 road to the crossroads with the CV-141. From here, we only need to follow the road to reach the CV-140 which takes us directly to Peñiscola.
From Madrid, we take the M-30 road until the N-III motorway. We continue our way to reach the A-31 motorway and meet with the AP-3 and, thereafter, with the AP-7. Reaching the exit 43 of this motorway, Km. 365, we turn off to the N-340. From there, we continue along the CV-141 and the CV-140 to reach our destiny.
The journey from Valencia to Peñiscola is much shorter. We leave the capital to continue until reaching the A-31 motorway. We go along the AP-3 motorway to reach the AP-7. Once we reach exit 43 of this motorway, we follow the same route as above.
